About Us

Our motto is: When imagination and learning meet, children thrive.

Kids are never predictable. We at Creative Kids Ideas believe that in order to effectively reach and teach them, adults must first learn (or remember) how to tap into their own imaginations. That’s where we come in. Creative Kids Ideas is a resource website for kids, parents, teachers and family members. Our mission is to provide readers with fun ideas and tips for building creativity and learning.

Meet the owner and writer of Creative Kids Ideas

Owner of Creative Kids Ideas, Jo Brielyn

Jo Brielyn is the work-at-home mother of two and a writer, author and poet. She has extensive schooling and experience in educating, training and teaching children of all ages. Jo is a fun-loving person with a wild imagination. She believes in enjoying life (and her children) to the fullest and is a huge believer in teaching children through play.

“I take a creative, and somewhat playful, approach to parenting and teaching children. I believe while there’s a time and place for seriousness, there’s also a great need for humor and flexibility when dealing with kids. My experience instructing both adults and children has taught me that people learn and retain lessons more effectively from doing, not merely from watching and listening. My goal is to get children involved and excited about learning and experiencing life.”

Ms. Brielyn offers Creative Kids Ideas to supply kids, parents, teachers and family members with the necessary resources and ideas to help build stronger, happier and more creative kids.
